Hopping, skipping, jumping, running. Kids are always in motion. Sometimes that motion results in an injury or illness. Whatever your child's health care need, Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children at Sky Ridge Medical Center is here for you.
Located in the heart of Lone Tree, just south of Park Meadows, Sky Ridge provides the latest medical technology with the area's top pediatric health care providers. We offer a broad range of health services for children, from routine strep tests to kid-specific emergency care and surgical procedures-we're ready for anything your children may need.
And, we designed Sky Ridge with color, art, plants, furniture and play areas that will help your child heal in a warm and comfortable setting, while giving you peace of mind.
At Sky Ridge, kids are important to us so we designed our Emergency Department with them in mind. We have fun décor and kid-friendly equipment to handle any emergency your family may encounter. We also have a pediatrician available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to care for your child.
Children are treated with love at Sky Ridge Medical Center. We offer private patient rooms in which parents can spend the night on a futon sleeper. Our attentive pediatric nurses have years of experience and a gentle touch…for you as well as your child. And, when your child is able to move about or a visiting sibling needs a respite, our cheery playroom and outdoor playground (donated by the Starlight Children's Foundation) provide the perfect element of entertainment. For those quieter times, feel free to bring your child's favorite CD or DVD to make him feel more comfortable and secure.
We offer the latest in medical technology across our campus. And one of our most exciting technologies is digital imaging. Our specially trained pediatric radiologists read digital scans instead of films. Your physician can view these images simultaneously from anywhere at Sky Ridge or from the office providing faster, more efficient diagnosis of your child's injury or illness.
Welcome to parenthood! Now that your precious one is in your arms and growing quickly, you may have questions regarding your child's development, as well as issues you experience along the way. Once a month you will receive timely information related to the growth of your new baby. You are never too young to get involved! A special thank you to Caleb, 5, and his sister Hannah, 7, who graciously donated Webkins to the Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children at Sky Ridge pediatrics wing. Baby Avery and his mom were the happy recipients of their thoughtfulness. Caleb and Hannah are shining examples of giving back to their communities. We appreciate you!
